In 2023, cablex will deploy ECCO2 Building Intelligence control hardware on the full real estate portfolio of Groupe Mutuel, enabling heating consumption optimization. Energy savings of one million kWh per year is anticipated.

As the number one infrastructure and service provider in Switzerland, cablex is a 100% subsidiary of Swisscom, specializing in the construction, maintenance, and operation of high-performance ICT solutions and network infrastructures, as well as in the planning and implementation of promising Smart Infrastructure projects.

“The strategic collaboration with cablex secures scalable deployment capability to further strengthen ECCO2’s market leadership. Fast and local deployment services are now available throughout Switzerland. Together with the investment made in the stock of critical components for the manufacture of ECCO2 hardware, this collaboration is the second pillar of our growth.”, said Alain Wagnières, Head of Operations at ECCO2 Solutions SA.

The joint ECCO2-cablex team has transferred the necessary skills and developed an innovative collaboration process that leverages virtual reality (VR) technology. A successful pilot installation has validated this innovative approach.

The goal is to equip more than 400 buildings per year.

“We are particularly excited about this excellent partnership with ECCO2 Solutions AG. Using our Roll-Out management skills for a solution aimed at reducing our carbon footprint is totally aligned with our group’s 2030 strategy. We are not only delighted to offer our traditional services in the field of ICT equipment installation and commissioning but also to develop innovative approaches (process digitalization, VR, etc.) to deploy gateways on-site even more efficiently. We thank ECCO2 Solutions SA for their trust!”, added Cédric Payet, Key Account Manager at cablex.
